Vision
Enriching the community: empowerment through employment

WISE Employment is a not-for-profit employment services provider. We provide employment services under the Australian Government's Disability Employment Services (DES) and Job Services Australia (JSA) programs. We empower job seekers to find meaningful work and become self-sufficient and we help employers to find the right staff by understanding their needs and providing them with workers from diverse backgrounds.

Each year, our passionate and skilled staff assist over 10,000 people into jobs. Our employment services are cost-free to eligible job seekers and employers.

Since 2001, we have invested $3.5 million of our funds into innovative projects to support the most disadvantaged in our community including people with disability, mental illness, youth, ex-offenders, refugees and Indigenous communities. WISE Employment also operates four socially-inclusive social enterprises, employing 200 people.

Since 1992, we have been empowering job seekers and employers. We believe the entire community is enriched when everyone is supported to achieve their potential.

An open story book

ISO 9001 Quality Assurance WISE opened its doors in West Melbourne in 1992, as a not-for-profit employment agency for people with a disability. Our highly-trained and dedicated staff now provide cost-free advice, training and other support to assist over 10,000 eligible job seekers into jobs each year at 28 main offices and 32 outreach offices across New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.  Read more about how WISE has grown.

None of our success would be possible without our highly-skilled and passionate staff who work with jobseekers one-on-one to understand their individual abilities, strengths and interests, and with employers to find the right candidates for their jobs. Perhaps you have the ‘can do’ attitude we value in our staff and would like to join us. Read more about working at WISE
