Enriching the community: empowerment through employment

WISE Employment is a not-for-profit employment services provider. We provide employment services under the Australian Government's Disability Employment Services (DES) and jobactive programs. We empower job seekers to find meaningful work and become self-sufficient and we help employers to find the right staff by understanding their needs and providing them with workers from diverse backgrounds.

Each year, our passionate and skilled staff assist over 10,000 people into jobs and support services across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Our employment services are cost-free to eligible job seekers and employers. 

Since 2001, we have invested $3.5 million of our funds into innovative projects to support the most disadvantaged in our community including people with disability, mental illness, youth, refugees and Indigenous communities. WISE Employment also operates three socially-inclusive social enterprises, currently employing approximately 100 people.

Since 1992, we have been empowering job seekers and employers. We believe the entire community is enriched when everyone is supported to achieve their potential.

ISO 9001 Quality Assurance WISE opened its doors in West Melbourne in 1992, as a not-for-profit employment agency for people with a disability. Our highly-trained and dedicated staff now provide cost-free advice, training and other support to assist over 10,000 eligible job seekers into jobs each year at 40 main offices and 57 part-time/outreach offices across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.  Read more about how WISE has grown.

WISE launched its UK employment service, WISE Ability in 2009.

WISE Ability is a registered Charity in England and Wales and delivers Employment Services in the North of England from sites in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster. WISE Ability delivers quality employment support, skills development and community development services to disadvantaged members of the community.
