WISE has also been successful in our tender to be part of the Innovation Fund Panel. Members of this panel will be able to submit project proposals to the Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations that offer solutions to address barriers to employment for groups of highly disadvantaged job seekers.
Mr Bateup sees this as a wonderful opportunity to really address some of the barriers to employment.
We look forward to developing strategies to assist job seekers and to help employers find the people for their business, he said.
This is a very exciting time for WISE as we expand our Jobs Services Australia into two new states NSW and the Northern Territory.
