S4W Mentor Information

One of the greatest challenges people face coming out of prison, is staying out. As a volunteer mentor in our Straigh4Work Program, you can offer support, encouragement and a positive role model for ex-offenders, as they adjust to life on the outside. Of course helping someone who genuinely wants to make a go of it is also very rewarding.

Whether you’re passionate about social justice, know what they’re going through or enjoy giving back to the community, this is a rare chance to help someone change their life.

One of our Straight4Work mentors, Debbie talks about her experiences as a mentor. To find out more about what is involved in being a mentor, listen to Debbie’s story or come along to one of the Straight4Work Information Sessions.
