Following the announcement of the Disability Employment Services (DES) tender, WISE Employment is proud to announce its successful tender for business in Tasmania, Victoria and NSW.

WISE Employment is a leading Australian charity currently providing employment services as part of Job Services Australia in Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and the Northern Territory, and specialist disability employment services in Victoria, NSW and Tasmania.

As part of the ITT process WISE Employment has retained all existing disability employment services (Program B) in all current states with the additional ESA of Monash in Victoria awarded through the process.

In addition, WISE Employment’s successful tender means that when the new contract begins on 1 March 2010, WISE will expand its services as part of the DES Program A in all locations in Tasmania, the area of Fairfield in Greater Western Sydney and Yarra in Victoria. WISE Employment will also be providing specialist mental health employment services in the area of Monash in Victoria.

WISE’s CEO John Bateup is delighted that WISE will be able to offer more services for job seekers and employers through the new employment services for people with disability.

“WISE Employment began operation in 1992 as an employment agency for people with an intellectual disability so we understand how vital effective disability employment services are to the community,” he said.
