On Monday 1 March, WISE Employment welcomed the launch of the Australian Government’s new Disability Employment Services initiative.

The new Disability Employment Services will operate under two programs:

Disability Management Service
assistance for those job seekers who are not expected to need regular, long-term support to maintain their job.

Employment Support Service
assistance for job seekers who will need regular long-term support to maintain their job.

Disability Employment Services will replace the Disability Employment Network and Vocational Rehabilitation Services, which currently support over 150,000 people with disability prepare for and/or join the nation’s workforce each year.

As part of the new Disability Employment Services initiative, WISE Employment retained our existing business in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania and expanded our business in Hobart, Devonport, Launceston, Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury.

In addition to the expansion of our services, we are also excited to announce the launch of two new offices in New South Wales - one in Fairfield and one in Marrickville. Our new office in Marrickville will mean that we are able to service a new community in inner Western Sydney.
