Three Ways WISE Helps You
At WISE there are three main ways we help you, the job seeker. That’s because there are three main stages in the job seeking process. ONE: preparing to go for a job, TWO: the process of finding the right job, going for it and getting it, THREE: moving into and keeping the job.

Each stage is so important to your overall success that at WISE we allocate a specialist staff member to each role. Here is a brief overview of how the process works:

ONE - Job Preparation
As the first step in the process, WISE may help you with:
• Development of an employment pathway plan
• Resume preparation
• Application letter writing
• Job search activities, including Internet job searches
• Access to training and skill development programs
• Job preparation sessions
• Interview skills and techniques training
• Practical and/or other support prior to and during employment

TWO - Marketing
We go out into the workplace to help you get the job you want by:
• Approaching and negotiating with employers on your behalf
• Outlining the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees
• Providing you with training information
• Offering employers wage subsidies to help train clients
• Liaising with other services and agencies to maximise the employment opportunities for our clients

THREE - Keeping your job
Once you find work, we ensure you have a smooth transition into the workplace by helping with:
• Negotiations between clients and employers in regards to workplace issues
• Training advice
• Employment contracts and agreements
• The installation of specialist equipment to help clients do their job
