WISE Employment is committed to fostering the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources. We aim to minimise the negative impact we have on the earth, including our carbon footprint.

Putting commitment into practice
While individuals have an important role in reducing their own environmental impact, it is also vital for businesses to play their part in averting climate change. Recognising this, WISE Employment has been carbon neutral* since December 2010.

We are continuously seeking ways to reduce our use of resources, apply environmentally-responsible practices in our business activities, and promote a healthy natural environment for future generations. WISE’s head office in North Melbourne achieved a 5 star NABERS energy rating in November 2011.

Staff involvement
At each of our offices, a WISE staff member – the ‘Green Champion’ – serves as a representative on environmental issues. They work with their team to develop and implement initiatives to reduce their environmental impacts.

Working together, WISE aims to become an organisation that is environmentally sustainable and working at community best practice levels.
