WISE Employment is committed to fostering the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources.

We aim to minimise the negative impact we have on the earth, including our carbon footprint.

Our goal

While individuals can play an important role in reducing their own environmental impact, it is also important for businesses to play their part in the commitment to avert climate change. WISE has set a goal to become carbon neutral by December 2010.

We aim to achieve this through the application of environmentally responsible practices in business activities to provide a clean and natural environment for future generations.

Staff involvement

At each of our offices, a WISE staff member – the ‘Green Champion’ – assists in measuring and monitoring their office’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Working with their team at a local level, they are the office’s representative for environmental issues. They develop and implement initiatives to avoid or reduce these emissions.

Working together, WISE aims to become an organisation that is environmentally sustainable and working at community best practice levels.
