What We Do
Equity Labour Services (ELS) is a vegetation management, litter collection and cleaning business with a difference. We train and find work for people who - due to a range of disabilities - face barriers to gaining and retaining employment. We help disadvantaged people overcome their barriers and - with the help of a great team of supervisory staff - offer a service our clients agree is second to none. By choosing ELS you not only get the job done in a timely, efficient and professional manner - you make a real difference in your community, by assisting those who need help most achieve their goals of finding meaningful work.

Established in 1999, ELS has been in operation since 2000, providing jobs and accredited training for people with a disadvantage. ELS started out with one wheelie-bin cleaning contract and have now grown to become Tasmania’s largest commercial curbside grass cutting and vegetation control business. In 2005, ELS became a division of WISE Employment, one of Australia’s largest disability employment services..
