What We Do
Equity Labour Services (ELS) is a vegetation management, litter collection and cleaning business with a difference. We train and find work for people who – due to a range of disabilities – face barriers to gaining and retaining employment.We help disadvantaged people overcome the barriers and – with the help of a great team of supervisory staff – offer a service our clients agree is second to none.By choosing ELS you not only get the job done in a timely, efficient and professional manner – you make a real difference in your community, by assisting those who need help most achieve their goals of finding meaningful work.

ELS started out with one wheelie-bin cleaning contract. We have grown to become Tasmania’s largest commercial curbside grass cutting and vegetation control business.ELS is a division of Equity Into Work, Tasmania’s largest disability open employment service. ELS is a rare blend: a successful social enterprise and a thriving commercial business, in one.
